to oversee and coordinate mechanical and electrical works for building and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing M&E activities from planning and coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and project completion. Candidates currently holding titles such as
M&E Project Engineer, M&E Engineer or M&E Coordinator
with the relevant project experience are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works for assigned projects. Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural and other construction activities. Review M&E drawings, specifications, technical submissions and shop drawings. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams to resolve technical and site issues. Monitor M&E installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements. Coordinate site activities and ensure M&E works progress according to the project programme. Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings where required. Monitor subcontractors' progress, workmanship and adherence to project requirements. Coordinate testing, commissioning and inspection of M&E systems. Identify and resolve technical issues, clashes and interface problems between M&E and other trades. Ensure proper documentation, inspection records and as-built drawings are maintained. Assist in monitoring project schedules, quality and safety requirements. Work closely with the Project Manager and other project team members to ensure timely project completion. Requirements
Diploma or Degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering
or a related discipline. Relevant experience in
M&E works for building or construction projects
in Singapore. Candidates with experience as an
M&E Project Engineer, M&E Engineer or M&E Coordinator
are encouraged to apply. Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, installation and site coordination. Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications.
