M&E RESIDENT ENGINEER
Summary
Oversee mechanical and electrical systems installation on construction sites, ensuring compliance with specs, safety, and local regulations as a Resident Engineer.
- Lead and supervise the M&E team in regularly inspecting M&E work to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Promptly identify and address any deficiencies.
- Effectively coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of M&E work. Maintain clear and concise communication.
- Monitor the progress of M&E work, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular progress reports for the consultant, superintendent officer, and project management team.
- Proactively identify and resolve M&E-related issues, proposing solutions and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Assist with site measurements, monitor site progress, and assess progress claims, including variation works (VO)assessments.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures on site. Promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all M&E work, inspections, correspondence, and ensure proper as-built installation records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the client.

Requirements:
- Recognized Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Registered Resident Engineer (RE) with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) ofIES/ACES.
- Minimum3 to 5 years of site supervision experience as an M&E RE within building construction projects in Singapore.
- Deep familiarity with Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice, and building regulations, with a proven track record in statutory submissions to local authorities(BCA, PUB, EMA, SCDF).
