The M&S Graduate Program is Sanofi's flagship early career accelerator, designed to fast-track exceptional talent into M&S China's core leadership pipeline. Over 3 years, you will gain cross-regional, cross-functional business immersion across critical M&S operations — building deep operational expertise, strategic thinking, and global perspective through real-world challenges. Main responsibilities:

Capital Project Learning & Execution Support

· Support and progressively take ownership of capital project delivery — from design to closure — including workforce planning, study, execution, CQV plans, and third-party contracts

· Contribute to project initiation assessments and funding proposals, developing the ability to present data-driven recommendations to site leadership

· Build proficiency in planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects, with growing independence by Year 2–3

Reliability Engineering & Maintenance Operations

· Learn and apply reliability engineering principles to optimize manufacturing output and maintenance cost efficiency

· Support allocation decisions for engineering and maintenance budgets across projects and operational needs

· Develop hands-on expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing engineering and maintenance processes, including automation systems

Regulatory Compliance & Process Improvement — Leadership Potential in Action

· Support the development and implementation of strategies to ensure all engineering, automation, and maintenance activities comply with GMP, FDA, and relevant industry regulations

· Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and quality — practicing the structured problem-solving mindset that defines future engineering leaders

· Progressively take ownership of improvement projects, moving from contributor to project lead by Year 3

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

· Assist in the selection and management of external contractors and suppliers, building commercial acumen and negotiation skills

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and central functions — developing the ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority

· Participate in key site decisions (Strategic Planning, Site Master Plan, Regulatory Compliance Strategies) as an active contributor, gaining early exposure to enterprise-level decision-making

About you:

Specific skills and experience requirement

· Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in a specialized function such as engineering, maintenance, manufacturing operations, automation, or related technical roles — ideally within pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industries

· Soft skill: Proficient in interpersonal skill, presentation skill, communication skill, leadership abilities, teamwork influence, complex problem-solving skill and etc.,

· Technical skill: Project Management: Proficiency in planning, executing, and monitoring large-scale projects.

· Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of engineering & maintenance principles on pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

· Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues.

  • Education: Master's Degree required; Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical), Life Sciences, or related technical disciplines; top MBA with prior engineering/manufacturing exposure also considered

· Languages: Proficient in listening, speaking, reading and writing English, hold CET6 and above language certificate is preferred
