M06 - Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to support the modernisation of legacy enterprise applications.

The role involves migrating JSP-based user interfaces to React Native or React, developing modern UI components, and integrating frontend applications with backend services.

The modernisation will cover two applications, VIS and CGS, delivered sequentially throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Modernise legacy JSP-based user interfaces using React Native or React.
• Develop reusable, responsive, and accessible frontend components.
• Implement frontend features based on functional and product requirements.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend application issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
• Ensure frontend code quality and maintainability.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in frontend software development.
• Strong proficiency in React Native or React.
• Experience modernising legacy JSP or similar frontend applications.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and component-based frontend development.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with responsive UI design and frontend testing practices.
