M08 - Senior Backend Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Backend Developers to design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise system integration and bi-directional data synchronisation.

The role involves backend development, API integration, testing, and collaboration with technical teams to deliver reliable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices supporting bi-directional data synchronisation.
• Design, build, and test RESTful API endpoints.
• Integrate backend services with upstream and downstream systems.
• Implement backend business logic and system integration components.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot application issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and development specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java or C#.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of system integration patterns and backend architecture.
• Experience with Git-based version control.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
