Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of environmental, health and safety programs (e.g., CARE, SAFE) focusing on environmental control, occupational health and safety culture.
- Ensure overall corporate institutional EHS governance, risk assessments, emergency
- preparedness, and internal audits are conducted regularly and in accordance with local laws and global standards.
- Update institutional EH&S policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure alignment with international best practices and donor requirements.
- Provide oversight of workplace health monitoring, hazard identification, and preventive programs across HQ, ES and country offices.
- Monitor regional EH&S implementation plans.
- Lead the annual EH&S planning cycle.
- Monitor legal compliance across all countries.
- Supervise the delivery of medical services, including monitoring of health risks such as epidemics and managing wellness data via the EHS dashboard.
- Ensure environment, health and safety management system programs are aligned with institutional goals and support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Coordinate institutional responses to significant compliance findings.
Requirements
- Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
- Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in EH&S management.
- Occupational Health and Safety certification or diploma.
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures.
- Strong analytical and information management skills.
- Experience in operational risk management and emergency response.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Collaboration Model with Regional Offices.
