Summary
Oversee IT projects from planning to delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to meet business goals while managing scope, budgets, and risks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of projects to achieve intended business and user outcomes.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, dependencies, risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with business, product, engineering, design and vendor teams to align objectives and drive execution.
- Analyse problems, evaluate options and develop practical recommendations to address business and operational needs.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, discussions and decision-making to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Track project performance, identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to achieve successful outcomes.
- Apply project governance, reporting and delivery management practices to ensure quality and operational readiness.
- Drive change management and adoption activities where required to support successful implementation.
- Contribute to improving team processes, delivery practices and collaboration across stakeholders.
Requirement
- Relevant experience in project, programme or product delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop actionable plans.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Experience managing vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
- Good understanding of project management, risk management and change management principles.
- Self-driven, collaborative and outcome-oriented mindset.
Preferred
- Experience delivering government digital services, government procurement methodology, enterprise systems or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches.
- Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment involving agencies, vendors and technology teams.
- Certifications such as CITPM,PMP, Scrum Master, AgilePM or equivalent would be advantageous.
