M70 - Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications and backend services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end application development, system integration, cloud deployment, and production support while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices to support business functions and data processing.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and maintainable software solutions.
• Design and implement reusable, modular, and scalable application components.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems through RESTful APIs.
• Apply frontend engineering best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, performance optimisation, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement secure coding practices and comply with application security requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business stakeholders to enhance application usability.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and provide production support.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing within the development team.

Requirements

• Experience in full-stack software development and building enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js, Python, or Java Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture, component-based development, state management, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
