Machine Learning Backend Software Engineer in Medical System (Developer) Middle

Summary
Builds and maintains distributed machine learning systems for medical imaging, optimizing Python backend services and deploying computer vision models to production.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing distributed ML systems
- Maintaining ML Python backend services in a distributed system.
- Designing DB schemas and supporting them for ml purposes such as training validation and labeling.
- Optimization of ML services
- Increasing unit test coverage, implementing automated testing for ML services.
- Improving overall system stability, investigating error reports, fixing bugs.
- Deploying models developed during research to the production environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CV algorithms in a production environment.
Core competencies and qualifications:
- 2+ years in Python development.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and computer vision.
- Good understanding of GPU compute
- Web programming skills (FastAPI, REST, HTTP, TCP).
- Experience with SQL. Queries, database design, migration tools.
- Experience with web application design.
- Experience with Linux, Docker.
- English B2+
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical standards (DICOM, HL7).
- Experience with cloud deployment (GCP, AWS, k8s).
- JavaScript experience.
- Formal education in Computer Science / Data Science
