A machine learning engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing machine learning models and algorithms. They work with large datasets to identify patterns and create predictive models that can be used for various applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand business requirements and use cases.
- Clean and preprocess large datasets for analysis.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights.
- Implement feature engineering techniques to improve model performance.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
- Optimize models for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Stay updated on latest developments in the field of machine learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.

Contract Type: 6‑month contract with possible extension.
Experience: No prior experience is required for this position; however familiarity with the fundamentals of machine learning is preferred.
