The opportunity
We are looking for a hands on Mid-Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build, deploy and maintain AI solutions for financial services use cases. You will join a regional engineering team and work across internal product development and client projects, including compliance, KYC and account opening automation.
What you will do
• Build AI and machine learning solutions from concept through production
• Develop applications using large language models, RAG and agentic workflows
• Own MLOps activities covering deployment, monitoring, evaluation and ongoing improvement
• Build reliable Python services that integrate AI models with enterprise systems and data
• Work with foundation models such as Claude and internally hosted AI tools
• Deploy solutions across AWS and Azure environments
• Evaluate model quality, reliability, accuracy and production performance
• Support incident management teams with technical investigation when required
• Collaborate with colleagues across Singapore, Asia and Europe
• Work across different projects, clients and AI use cases
What we are looking for
• Strong experience across machine learning engineering, data science, data engineering or MLOps
• A clear track record of moving from traditional machine learning into applied AI
• Strong Python engineering and software development fundamentals (experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks)
• Hands on experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining production AI or ML systems
• Experience with LLM applications, RAG, model evaluation and prompt development
• Working knowledge of DevOps, MLOps and cloud infrastructure
• Experience within banking or financial services is preferred
• Knowledge of compliance, KYC, account opening or other regulated processes would be valuable
• A stable career history with evidence of delivering complex projects over time
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently across regional teams
Candidates from leading technology companies may also be considered if they bring strong engineering depth and production AI experience.
This role suits an experienced engineer who combines machine learning knowledge with practical software engineering and takes ownership beyond the prototype stage.
