Machine Learning Engineer

Builds and deploys ML models and pipelines to solve maritime and climate-related business problems using Python and deep-learning frameworks.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lahore.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems that can be solved using machine learning
- Collect clean and preprocess data for use in training and testing of models
- Build scalable efficient and automated machine learning pipelines
- Analyze model performance and make necessary improvements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer
- Strong programming skills in Python, R or Java
- Experience with data mining, data preprocessing, feature engineering and building predictive models
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision (CV)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
