Machine Learning Engineer

Salary: £149,000 - 149,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience designing, training, and optimising machine learning models
• Experience with recommendation engines, ranking algorithms, user segmentation, and content analysis
• Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines for feature engineering and model training
• Experience working with structured and unstructured large-scale datasets
• Experience deploying and supervising ML models in production environments
• Experience designing and analysing A/B tests and offline experiments
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to align machine learning work with business objectives and user needs
• Experience evaluating emerging research in machine learning, deep learning, and personalisation

Responsibilities:

• Research, build, and design artificial intelligence systems for machine learning
• Maintain and improve existing artificial intelligence systems
• Design, train, and optimise machine learning models focused on user personalisation
• Construct and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for feature engineering and model training
• Deploy and supervise ML models in production environments
• Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and continued relevance of ML models in production
• Lead the design and analysis of A/B tests and offline experiments to evaluate model efficacy
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to align machine learning initiatives with business objectives and user needs
• Evaluate emerging research in machine learning, deep learning, and personalisation for potential integration within existing systems

We are hiring for a Machine Learning Engineer on an initial 3-6 months contract assignment, with a strong likelihood of extension. This is a hybrid role with 2 days on site in Osterley, West London, and it is inside IR35. We are looking for someone to join our data science team and contribute to machine learning, production deployment, experimentation, and ongoing innovation in personalisation.
