About the Role
We are partnering with a leading global retail organization looking for a Machine Learning Engineering Lead to lead and develop its growing AI engineering team across Hong Kong and Asia.
This is a strategic technical leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery and scaling of production AI solutions across multiple global initiatives. You will help shape engineering practices, improve how AI solutions are developed and deployed, and drive the adoption of modern MLOps, LLMOps, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Machine Learning Engineers
Oversee engineering delivery across multiple AI initiatives
Drive production reliability, scalability, monitoring, and engineering quality
Improve MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD, and AI development practices
Provide technical direction and challenge architecture decisions
Drive continuous improvement and adoption of emerging AI engineering tools
What We’re Looking For
Strong background in Machine Learning Engineering, AI Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering
Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production
people-management experience
Strong understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and production engineering
Strong technical judgement and architecture mindset
Proactive, independent, and comfortable driving change
Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills
