Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment related to finished-goods packaging. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high-quality products, maintaining a clean and organized work area, inspecting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting in the training and development of other production team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up machines at the beginning of each shift and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain and clean machines throughout the shift.
• Adhere to company quality and food safety standards.
• Perform routine quality inspections and accurately complete inspection documentation.
• Adjust machine settings and components based on product specifications.
• Reset machines following malfunctions and clear machine jams.
• Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues.
• Maintain adequate raw material levels to support continuous production.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
