The machine operator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate orders while providing exceptional service to our customers.
Job Summary:
Machine Operators play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of various machinery metal converting equipment involved in the metal roofing panel bending production process. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of machinery to produce high-quality metal roofing product while meeting production deadlines. Machine Operators will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining different types of machines – Roll Formers and Trim bending or Trim Break Machines. Our Machine Operators also troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various types of machinery according to specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor machinery during operations to ensure proper functioning and to identify any potential issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation of machine performance and output.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and resolve operational challenges.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
