Are you looking to give your career a new direction? A leading company in the chemical sector is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team in Sant Pere Sallavinera. If you are part of that team, these would be some of your responsibilities:

What you'll do

- Check the production status at the start of the shift.

- Contact the machinist from the previous shift to determine the current status of the work on the machine.

- Review the production sheet and verify that the data has been correctly entered into the computer system.

- Ensure the correct quality of the finished product based on the parameters established in the manufacturing sheet and the control guide.

- Perform the controls specified in the control guide.

- Once the order is completed, record it in the production file and in the computer system.

- Daily, record the production report in the computer system.

- Attendance and participation in production improvement meetings.

- Resolution of incidents during the production process.

- Carry out the work in accordance with the procedures established by the company.

- Maintain the work area in a correct state of order and cleanliness.

- Take responsibility for the order and cleanliness of the workstation.

- Act to solve possible incidents affecting production and, if necessary, inform the supervisor or maintenance.

- Supervise the work of the laborer.

- Comply with quality, hygiene, and environmental regulations (waste management, raw material and energy consumption...) and Occupational Risk Prevention (good manufacturing practices, use of PPE...).

- Comply with internal regulations.

- Among other tasks inherent to the job position.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in production environments.
• Residence near the workplace is valued.
• Forklift license highly valued.
• A vehicle is required for travel.

Education & certifications

Completed secondary education.

Vocational training in Mechanics or Electromechanics valued.

Languages

Correctly spoken and written Spanish and Catalan.
