What we are looking for:
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic mechanical adjustments
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment
- Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible
- Previous experience OR education with mechanical tasks
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for daily production records and quality control records for all lines assigned to operate
- Control and adjust machine settings
- Answer machine alarms as they occur and address the root cause
- Troubleshoot, preventative maintenance and minor repair on blow mold and support equipment
- Perform daily set up and bottle size changeovers on all equipment
- Retrieves PLC programming information, evaluate, and makes necessary adjustments
- Responsible for required adjustments needed to fulfill the product specification requirements such as weight, color distribution, and cycle times.
- Coordinate process operations to ensure efficiency, including communicating with production personnel
- Ensures adherence to quality standards
- Must be able to keep up to date on process alterations and general procedures by reading logs, special procedures and posted notices
- Responsible for housekeeping & maintaining a clean work area
