Machine Operator II

Springs Fabrication is currently seeking a qualified 1st shift Machine Operator II / III to run our press brake machine. Candidates will be given a shop math assessment at time of interview. Potential candidates should have reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

SUMMARY:

Performs simple set-up and operation of machinery in the Processing Group i.e. Saw, Press Brake, Tube Laser, and Rolls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, adjust machine controls and offsets.
• Make spot checks of completed parts to ensure that machine is holding tolerances.
• Processes all paperwork according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Keeps work area neat and organized at all times to promote an image of quality and a safe environment.
• Ability to learn the safe operation of overhead cranes.
• Other related duties as assigned.
