• Monday - Thursday 5:00am- 3:30pm
• Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am
• Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm

Job Overview:

Marlin Steel Wire is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Machine Operator. This role is critical to our production process, ensuring high-quality manufacturing of pail handles while maintaining efficiency and safety. No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training to help you develop the necessary skills for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines, ensuring material is fed correctly and preventing jams.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to optimize production efficiency.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with machine maintenance as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurements to maintain accuracy.
• Perform in-process quality checks and ensure all products meet specifications.
• Properly bundle and package products for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Use measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers) to verify product dimensions and quality.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Communicate and share quality concerns with team members and supervisors.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment to prevent hazards.
• Assist in maintaining and improving safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to meet production goals.
• Receive ongoing training and skill development to advance within the company.
• Take the initiative to learn new processes and improve efficiency.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
