POSITION SUMMARY

Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing quality car care products by operating, monitoring and adjusting production equipment along the operation’s high-speed production lines.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain high-speed production lines to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
• Filling different types of packaging containers from pint size to 55-gallon drums.
• Consistently achieve or exceed established production standards.
• Perform equipment adjustments to maintain optimal operation and product quality.
• Preparing processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers.
• Accurately document production processes, including completing logs, calculating statistics, and tracking the receipt, flow, and return of materials.
• Preparing trainees for production responsibilities by demonstrating teamwork, leadership and following standard operating procedures.
• Completing production, productivity, inspection, downtime and safety reports in a timely manner.
• Maintaining quality standards by conducting first-piece and line inspections.
• Reporting production and quality issues by recording data and reporting unresolved issues to the supervisor.
• Inspecting equipment and its parts to assure conformance to specifications.
• Contribute to maintaining a culture committed to the safety of its employees; reporting unsafe acts and conditions to the appropriate Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment at the employee’s assigned workstations.
• Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned by production supervisors or managers.
