2nd Shift

Hours: Monday – Friday 3:00pm- 11:30pm

Job Overview:

To perform machining tasks as directed by their supervisor in a safe and timely manner. Types of machines to include one or more of - CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Jig Grinding, ID/OD Grinding, Surface Grinding, Wire and Sinking EDM as well as other Machine Shop support equipment.

Job Duties:

• Set up, adjust and monitor machines according to provided specifications
• Inspect parts and make adjustments to ensure quality is maintained
• Transport completed parts to next work centers
• Maintain a clean and professional work center
• Complete basic maintenance on machines
• Complete work on schedule

Qualifications:

• Related associate degree, certificate or minimum of 2 years machinist work experience
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Able to edit CNC programs at controls
• Experience with Mazak lathes is preferred but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Willing and able to learn quickly
• Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers
• Organized self-starter
• Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Candidate should perform work in a safe, organized and timely manner
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to stand and perform other physical acts for entirety of scheduled shift

**Experienced candidates are desired, but need for training should not preclude application.
