Machinist Apprentice

Innovative Aerosystems is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Machinist Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. The Machinist Apprentice will work alongside experienced machinists and manufacturing professionals, receiving hands-on training while supporting the production of high-quality aerospace and defense components.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Learn to safely operate CNC machining equipment under the guidance of experienced machinists.
• Assist in the production of precision components for aerospace and defense applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality and conformance to specifications.
• Assist with machine setup, tooling preparation, and material handling.
• Perform basic quality inspections and accurately document results.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to support production goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
