Job Title: Machinist Prepared By: Sr. HR Generalist
Department: Production Approved By: Director of HR
Reports To: Production Manager
Summary: Set up and operate a CNC machine, or manual machine, to produce machined parts
Essential Function:
- Set up and operate CNC or manual mill/lathe
- Verify and adjust settings to ensure specifications
- Change and adjust tools and inserts
- Troubleshoot problems and adjust to correction
- Produce production parts as per specified requirements
- Utilize proper speed and feed for maximum efficiency
- Deburr parts as needed
- Adhere to business management system (BMS), as applicable
- Assist with any other duties as assigned
