Machinist III

Position Summary: Responsible for learning and performing the set ups and running of all CNC machines.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and run CNC mill, lathe and router, Manual Mill, Manual Lathe, and Automatic Saw
• Making sure the machine is set up properly, monitoring it during the process and documenting results
• Perform basic math functions such as addition and subtraction
• Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
• Safety and security is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly
• Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Performs all other duties as directed by Management
