As a trusted global leader in aerospace, defence, and space, we are proud to be a company where diversity, innovation, and opportunity come together to shape a sustainable future where we can all succeed together through a shared vision.

Safran Landing Systems are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets.

Our expertise covers the entire life cycle of our products from end-to-end; Design, Engineering & Manufacturing, through to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). Your role:

You'll be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining a range of specialist machine tools used across our MRO site. You'll ensure parts are machined and repaired to exact aerospace specifications, quality standards and engineering tolerances, supporting the continued airworthiness, safety and reliability of customer products.

• Set up, operate and optimise specialist machine tools including cylindrical grinding, planetary grinding, vertical boring, horizontal boring, turning and honing equipment.
• Manufacture and repair aerospace components to precise engineering specifications
• Prepare, install and secure fixtures, tooling and components safely and accurately
• Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals and technical specifications
• Monitor machining operations and adjust machine parameters, feeds and speeds
• Use a wide range of precision measuring equipment to verify component conformity
• Diagnose machine and process issues, supporting corrective actions to minimise downtime
