Description
Stable and growing CNC job shop is looking to hire CNC Machinists. Opportunities are available at several levels from Operator to Set-up/Programmer. The company runs 10-hour shifts on 1st and 2nd shift, and overtime is available.
Pay rates vary by skill level:
- CNC Level II starts at $23 for 1st shift and $24.50 for 2nd.
- CNC Level III starts at $25 for 1st and $26.60 for 2nd.
- CNC Level IV starts at $27 for 1st and $28.80 for 2nd.
DUTIES OF THE CNC III MACHINIST INCLUDE:
- Ability to set up all repeat jobs that are fully documented
- Run the first piece to print specification
- Knowledge of programming and may have ability to make edits or program.
- Manually inspect the part to the inspection sheet criteria
- Ability to read blueprints to a medium/high level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation
- Knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
- May run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
- Advanced shop math with trigonometry and geometry
- Mentor and train operators
