macOS IT Support Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements:- Prior experience in 1st line support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role
- Confidence working with macOS and ideally Windows environments too
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- A customer-first attitude and enthusiasm for learning
- Experience using Jamf Pro or Kandji
- Ideally Jamf Pro or Apple certifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other cloud systems
- Considerable experience using MDM tools such as Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or JumpCloud
- Up-to-date IT certifications such as Apple Certified, CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft
- Be the go-to person for first, second, and third line IT support for macOS and some Windows users, handling calls, emails, tickets, and on-site support
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for a range of users
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, user accounts, and permissions
- Keep documentation up to date with clear notes and resolutions
