Summary
Build and maintain B2B e-commerce sites on Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce), collaborating with an external team to deliver features, fixes, and platform upgrades for a multi-country European operation.

Location: Remotely from Poland with occasional business trips to Bielsko-Biała for 1–3 days approximately every two months

Our client is looking for a Magento (Adobe Commerce) Full Stack Developer to join an international e-commerce team responsible for developing and supporting B2B online platforms operating across multiple European markets.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and an external software development partner to maintain, enhance, and optimize Adobe Commerce solutions. You will take ownership of technical improvements, platform stability, and ongoing development while contributing to the evolution of a complex international e-commerce ecosystem.
Your role is:
- To develop, maintain, and enhance B2B e-commerce solutions based on Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce)
- To collaborate daily with an external development partner, participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and software delivery activities
- To investigate and resolve production issues, application defects, and performance bottlenecks
- To deliver platform improvements and contribute to continuous optimization of the codebase through refactoring and technical enhancements
- To implement Magento updates, security patches, and extension upgrades while ensuring platform stability and reliability
- To develop backend and frontend functionalities to support evolving business needs
- To work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- To contribute to maintaining a secure, high-performing, and scalable e-commerce environment

Your skills and experiences:
- 4+ years of commercial experience developing applications with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce)
- Strong knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming principles
- Good understanding of MySQL or MariaDB databases
- Experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and XML layouts within Magento
- Ability to work effectively with distributed development teams and follow established development standards
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and delivering sustainable technical solutions
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders
- Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and adapt in an international environment
- Fluent English (at least B2)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Git and modern version control workflows
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Basic experience with Docker, containerization, or cloud platforms such as AWS
- Experience with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Nitro, or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with Hyvä themes or headless commerce architectures
- Experience integrating or working with Magnolia CMS
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and modern e-commerce best practices
