Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager – Magento Developer to lead the development and optimization of Magento-based e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Magento development, excellent leadership skills, and experience working in a fast-paced digital environment. This role requires managing a team of developers, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring the successful implementation of scalable and high-performing e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Magento developers to deliver high-quality projects within defined timelines.
- Design, develop, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Paid Media, Design, SEO, Content, and Project Management, to ensure seamless execution of digital strategies.
- Customize and optimize Magento modules, extensions, and integrations to enhance website functionality and user experience.
- Monitor website performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement technical solutions to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best development practices.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide guidance to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest Magento updates, technologies, and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Magento development.
- Strong expertise in Magento 2, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
- Experience with Magento customization, third-party integrations, and API development.
- Understanding of e-commerce workflows, customer journeys, and digital marketing ecosystems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with digital marketing and Paid Media teams.
- Knowledge of performance optimization, SEO best practices, and website analytics.
- Familiarity with Git, cloud hosting environments, and deployment processes.
- Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Experience
- 3–5+ years of Magento development experience.
- Prior experience leading a development team or managing projects will be an added advantage.
