Mailroom Clerk
This position will be responsible for sorting and posting of all incoming and outgoing 1st Class Mail, United Parcel Service packages, Federal Express packages, and providing inter-office mail services for the Resort. This position is also responsible for the metering of all outgoing mail and processing of monthly accounting reports, planning and preparation for large mail-outs, and custody and control of both guest and resort mail. This position is responsible for remaining updated on all ongoing procedural changes related to postal rate and policy changes.

- Receive, sort, distribute, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and freight items.
- Operate mail processing equipment, including metering and processing of First-Class Mail.
- Document and shipping of all UPS, USPS and Fed Ex packages.
- Complete monthly accounting reports and maintain mail service records.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with mail services.
- Ability to effectively communicate through cell phone, email, conference calls, texting tools
- Ability to provide efficient, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information and respond effectively to customers and sensitive situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have a valid drivers license.

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. The role requires frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and operating office and mail-processing equipment.
The employee must be able to consistently lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. Responsibilities also include receiving, sorting, and delivering high volumes of mail, packages, and freight shipments, with volumes that may exceed 50 items at a time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The majority of work will be performed in a climate-controlled environment, but employees may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature on occasion.
