Mailroom Team Lead

Duties and Responsibilities
- The Team Leader will be professional at all times when dealing with clients, promoting excellent customer service
- Mailroom team member management
- Report and resolve client feedback to operation executive within stipulated time frame
- Checking and perform daily and monthly reporting functions
- Managing mailroom operator(s) and provide guidance in accordance with SOP and SPS guidelines.
- Client communications and management on daily operational matters.
- Performing of mail rounds and distribution of mails.
- Arrangement and coordination of incoming and outgoing items for local and international courier.
- Ensure that onsite team adhere to SPS policies and procedures
- Franking machine management.
- Maintain workspace cleanliness at all times.
- Security screening of all incoming mails before distribution.
- Regular reporting and prompt escalations to the management in case of issue.
- Deal with enquiries face to face, email and on the telephone
- Any other duties commensurate with the above list
- At times carry heavy products within client's premises
- Ensuring high level of accuracy in processing of mails
- Ensure that all documents are processed within stipulated timelines and according to the operational procedures
- Build and maintain good working relationships across all levels of personnel, internally and externally
Candidate Profile
Candidates for this position should preferably have the following:
- More than 2 years’ experience in mailroom / customer service environment.
- Mailroom operations
- Able to work shifts
- Use of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Command of English is required for speaking and writing.
- Responsibility in attendance and completion of daily duties
- Be courteous and provide professional customer service
- Able to handle fast-paced environment
- Show flexibility regarding shift start and finish times
- Disciplined, responsible and is a team player
