Main Line Technician
Job Overview: As a Main Line Automotive Technician with Royal Moore Toyota, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest industry standards. You'll work on a wide range of vehicles, diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that every vehicle leaving our service area is in optimal condition, providing our customers with a safe and reliable driving experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair tasks, including engine diagnostics, brake inspections, fluid changes, tire rotations, and more.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and address potential safety concerns and maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations clearly and provide accurate estimates.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and advancements through ongoing training and development.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed on each vehicle.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet daily service targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited automotive technology program is preferred.
- 2+ years of proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- ASE certifications or relevant manufacturer certifications are a plus.
- Thorough understanding of automotive systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.

Salary: $22-$45/hour depending on experience and certifications. Overtime available.
