Mandatory Skills

• Mainframe Assembler (HLASM) – 6+ years of hands-on experience.
• Strong experience in COBOL and JCL.
• Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS Mainframe.
• Knowledge of mainframe debugging tools such as IPCS and Abend-AID.
• Experience in batch and online transaction processing.
• Ability to analyze complex system logic and optimize program performance.
• Experience in Assembler and COBOL development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe Assembler (HLASM) programs.
• Analyze existing Assembler programs and understand complex system logic.
• Work on Assembler and COBOL programs, including code analysis and conversion wherever required.
• Develop and maintain JCL jobs for batch processing.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues using IPCS, Abend-AID, and other mainframe tools.
• Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support batch and online transaction processing environments.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
