Role: Mainframe Cobol DB2
Duration: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Plano, TX

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also onsider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology and experience with Mainframe Technologies.

• 5+ years experience in Mainframe development, specifically, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Native Stored Procedures
• Development & design knowledge of DB2 database including Data Modeling
• Good exposure to Native Cobol Stored Procedures
Ability to detect / anticipate performance issues and address them
• Ability to work in cross-functional and with multi-location teams
• Experience in working with offshore / remote teams
Ability to take on tasks independently and see them to completion
• Ability to work on a multi tasking environment within a strict timeline.
• Documentation experience that demonstrates the ability to clearly articulate technical designs, process and workflow.
• Must have good written and communication skills.
