Mainframe Developer (COBOL, JCL, CICS, JES, DB2, MVS, Change Man Administration, IDz, Devops, Git)
Summary
Maintains and migrates legacy mainframe systems using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2, while administering change management tools like Change Man and DevOps pipelines with IDz and Git.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience onCOBOL/JCL/CICS/JES/DB2/MVS/CICS concepts.
- Experience in Change Man Administration- involving installation, migration & upgrade.
- Extensive knowledge of the configuration management principles and procedures, and software testing procedures.
- Experience/Knowledge in Mainframe Devops using IDz, Git.
- write and maintain any customization needed for the change management tool - including creating rexx and/or xml reports, and customizing skeletons and panels as needed.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining documentation.
- Serve as primary contact for questions or problems relating to the Change Man Software, Code promotion etc.
- Migrate/Promote Software based on established procedures.
- Validate/Ensure approvals for Code promotion.
- Migrate software and verify successful migration.
- Maintain and manage Change man configuration, backup, recovery.
