Mainframe developer( IDz, Git, COBOL,JCL, CICS, JES, DB2,MVS,CICS)

Responsibilities & Requirements.

  • 4+ years of experience on COBOL/JCL/CICS/JES/DB2/MVS/CICS concepts.
  • Experience in Change Man Administration involving installation, migration & upgrade.
  • Hands on experience in the configuration management principles and procedures, and software testing procedures.
  • Experience in Mainframe Devops using IDz, Git.
  • Write and maintain any customization needed for the change management tool including creating rexx and/or xml reports, and customizing skeletons and panels as needed.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining documentation.
  • Serve as primary contact for questions or problems relating to the Change Man Software, Code promotion etc.
  • Migrate/Promote Software based on established procedures.
  • Validate/Ensure approvals for Code promotion.
  • Migrate software and verify successful migration.
  • Maintain and manage Change man configuration, backup, recovery.
