Mainframe Developer

Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance Mainframe applications to support evolving business needs.
• Modify existing COBOL programs to implement new business logic and develop new programs for data validation and processing.
• Work extensively with DB2, including creating programs for data validation, retrieval, and integration with existing tables.
• Create and manage VSAM files to store and process data as per project requirements.
• Utilize CHANGEMAN for version control, ensuring proper configuration management and deployment practices.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and continuous delivery practices.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Hands-on experience with CHANGEMAN or similar version control tools.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies with proven ability to deliver in iterative cycles.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in distributed team environments
