Mainframe System Administrator
Summary
Maintains and administers IBM z/OS mainframe systems, CICS, MQ, and storage infrastructure for a financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Mainframe zOS system programmer / administrator for
- Mainframe CICS and MQ
- Mainframe zSeries hardware
- Mainframe zOS operating system
- Mainframe IBM and 3rd Party Vendor System Software
- Mainframe storage area network
- Mainframe attached disk storage system
- Mainframe attached tape storage system
Role and Responsibility includes :
- Create and maintain Host Platform technology strategy, architecture and roadmap
- Provide Host Platform infrastructure initiatives project management
- Design, install, configure and deploy host infrastructure and solution
- Provide Host Platform project and L3 support
- Plan and manage Host Platform upkeep and change schedule
- Deploy Host Platform upkeep and change
- Manage risks and controls, provide audit support, perform RCSA for Host Platform
Requirements:
Education:
· Diploma inComputer Science or related field.
· At least 6years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.

Mainframe System Administrator
- Mainframe operating systems. Eg TSO, JES2, ISPF, RACF
- JCL language
