Mainframes IMS

Experience with installation of or applying maintenance to IMS V11 (use of SMPE); experience in support IMS V12 and/or V13; experience in IMS migration/upgrade process;

· Experience with BMC’s IMF tool to: monitor IMS transaction response time or investigate user reported transactions problems;

· Understanding of mainframe PL/1 programming (development language);

· Ability to monitor IMS activity during peak volume days and liaise with Operations to meet business availability and performance objective;

· Ability to liaise with and provide support to developers on IMS development works;

· Availability to provide on call support and perform on call duties.
