Maintenance Assistant (69356)

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs routine manual work connected with proper maintenance of the building and ground area. some evening and some night work is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in the repair of building equipment as instructed by the Maintenance Director.

2. Assist in the removal of refuse from the building and subsequent transfer to the dumpster.

3. Performs P-TEC/AC and generator checks.

4. Performs water temperature checks.

5. Performs fire extinguisher checks.

6. Performs inside room walk through. Example, check tv’s, furniture is intact, etc.

7. Performs outside walk through. Example, check the integrity of building, etc.

8. Performs maintenance room round checks before and after admissions.

9. Performs other duties related to the maintenance of the ground area.

10. Performs a variety of cleaning functions within the building.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.
