Maintenance Asst
Job description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automobile Maintenance Assistant with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. The candidate should hold an ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering and have a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing the maintenance of trucks, trailers, forklifts, cranes, hydraulics, and other heavy vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day automobile maintenance operations in the workshop.
Open job cards, diagnose issues, and assign repair/maintenance tasks to mechanics.
Deploy mechanics for attending to breakdown vehicles en route.
Troubleshoot and provide technical guidance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
Ensure proper scheduling and timely completion of maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using computer systems.
Monitor team performance, enforce discipline, and ensure safety compliance in the workshop.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, tools, and spare parts.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Should be an ITI / Diploma (Automobile Eng) with Min. 3+ yrs experience
- Having Knowledge in Automobile Maintenance, like trucks, trailers, hydraulics, forklifts, and cranes. etc
- Having knowledge in open job cards, troubleshooting shooting and assigning work to mechanics
- Assigning Mechanics to break down vehicles en route
- Having Commanding power and relevant knowledge
- The candidate should be computer-savvy
