Maintenance E&I Technicians (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Summary

Maintains and troubleshoots electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting, ensuring equipment reliability and safety compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and execute electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and control system issues.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out efficiently.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Review electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Support project installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance or engineering.
  • Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, instrumentation, motors, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment, or Manufacturing industries is an advantage.
