Maintenance E&I Technicians (Electrical & Instrumentation)
Summary
Maintains and troubleshoots electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting, ensuring equipment reliability and safety compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and control system issues.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out efficiently.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimise equipment downtime.
- Review electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Support project installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance or engineering.
- Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, instrumentation, motors, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment, or Manufacturing industries is an advantage.
