Maintenance Electrician

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for duties associated with the facilities electrical maintenance as well as general upkeep and maintenance of the operational systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to):

Electrical Maintenance:

· Ensure the smooth running of the building's electrical system and promptly resolve issues that arise.

· Inspect electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and other appliances.

· Install feeders, panels, branch circuits, and motor controls.

· Map, record systems and create & maintain designs of the facilities electrical infrastructure.

· Identify faults or hazards.

· Troubleshoot system failures.

· Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.

· Review blueprints to understand wiring placing.

· Provide suggestions for equipment replacement.

Greenhouse Facilities and Systems Maintenance and Construction:

· Maintaining and repairing all systems including inflation, electrical, generators, boilers and production equipment.

· Assist in repairing and installing new systems and greenhouses.

· Safely use tools and equipment in accordance with company safety standards.

· Assist with and/or perform additional duties as required by operating needs of the company as directed by management.
