Maintenance Employee
Summary
Maintenance employees clean and maintain parking facilities, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and graffiti cleanup, while operating company vehicles and responding to service calls.
JOB SUMMARY: Maintenance employees conduct general housekeeping and janitorial duties, ensuring the parking facilities remain bright and clean. This is a second shift position that can be either full or part time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Sweep garages and lots including but not limited to curbs, stairs, walkways, elevators/elevator tracks, expansion joints, and drive lanes.
- Wipe down handrails in stairs using company approved cleaning supplies.
- Clean windows in structures using company approved cleaning supplies.
- Empty trash cans and install new can liners.
- Mop elevators, elevator landings, and other areas as needed using company approved supplies and PPE.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner.
- Safely operate company vehicles and trucks, maintaining an acceptable and clean driving record that meets specific company policy.
- Perform regular structure and lot tours.
- Remove graffiti as needed and perform paint touch up.
- Perform car counts at structures and open lots.
- Respond to equipment issues as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
