Maintenance Engineer - Building Operations - Days - FT - Biloxi Location

Job Summary:

Provides repairs, maintenance, and construction services to ensure that the environment of the hospital and its clinics are safe, comfortable, and functional.

Required Qualifications:

Education: High School or equivalent

Licensure: May be necessary to have one of the following licenses: EPA Universal License, FCC General Class License, or Contractor License - if hired for a skill for which a license is required.

Experience: Three years as a Journeyman craftsman in building trades or as a mechanic.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Knowledge and skill at a Journeyman level in one or more building crafts- electrical, plumbing, a/c, refrigeration, carpentry, controls, painting/finishing, etc. Knowledge in some areas may be preferred over others, based on needs of department/hospital.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree

Experience: Five years’ experience as a Journeyman craftsman in building trades.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Journeyman dill in craft needed plus general skills in other crafts.
