Maintenance Engineer, Instrumentation (Chemical)

- Based in Jurong Island
Key Responsibilities
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for instrumentation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute major maintenance works while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational integrity.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure maintenance activities are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to production.
- Perform instrumentation studies, troubleshooting, and implement modifications to plant facilities in accordance with technical specifications and business requirements.
- Conduct technical training and competency development programmes for staff and contractors.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SS651 standards.
- Respond promptly to plant emergencies and troubleshoot instrumentation issues within tight operational timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance within the refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or construction industries.
- Experience with Process Gas Chromatograph (PGC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) will be an added advantage.
