Maintenance Engineer
Summary
Maintains and repairs industrial machinery in a manufacturing plant, focusing on reducing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for improving overall machine downtime of plant machinery and contribute to achieve maintenance section/department KPI
- Carryout corrective and preventive maintenance on plant machines
- Maintain & update of all breakdown records promptly
- Identify root cause of the problem and provide counter measures
- Monitor, maintain and conduct monthly stock check for critical machines’ spare parts
- Liaise with machine agents for repair or maintenance of machines
- Calibration and verification of machine equipment
- Test and maintain machine safety systems in good condition
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
- Good machine trouble shooting, problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of PLC programming skills
- Self-disciplined, independent, and able to work under pressure
