As a part of our Customer Service Operations team, you will be first in the field to maintain food processing and packaging equipment at our customers’ facilities. This position is based in Sydney, Australia.

You will travel 30-40% of your time to customer sites.

What you will do

  • Travel to customer sites to:

    • Perform preventive maintenance and installation tasks of moderate complexity
    • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
    • Use Tetra Pak Maintenance System (TPMS) tools to report and document service activities
    • Interpret technical documentation and follow global procedures
    • Represent Tetra Pak professionally and share ideas for improving customer operations

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols

We believe you have

  • Requires foundational, mechanical or electrical experience, supported by a high school diploma or technical/vocational program from a trade school.
  • Practical experience performing maintenance and repairs across multiple areas, ideally in the dairy industry, but could also be in the area of automotive systems, diesel engines, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Authorization and ability to work and travel within Australia with up to 40% travel.
  • A valid driver's license is required for extensive travel to customer sites by car and air.
  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A customer-focused attitude and a drive to improve.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn food industry equipment.
  • A proactive, safety-first approach.
