Maintenance Engineer (Training Centre)
Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on DISCO equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Document maintenance activities and optimize workflows to support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all equipment at DISCO premises, including equipment checks, cleaning, consumable parts replacement, and lubrication of moving parts to ensure optimal function
- Troubleshoot equipment failures by analyzing technical manuals to identify root causes and perform necessary repairs and part replacements
- Document maintenance tasks, parts usage, and equipment inspection results accurately for record-keeping and compliance
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety and health standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Follow established operating procedures and workflows, and identify opportunities to optimize and improve these processes
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools skillfully to perform maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently to meet maintenance objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma holder, preferably in an engineering field; fresh graduates are welcome
- Experience with machine operations or maintenance in a cleanroom environment is advantageous
- Prior experience with DISCO machines is beneficial for experienced candidates
